We have used TM Hughes & Son Gas Services for all our plumbing needs over several years. The service provided has always been reliable, friendly, very professional and competitively priced. Today we had our annual service carried out on our boiler by Kai, a member of the company, who quickly identified a dangerously worn seal within the boiler.
Having warned us that the part would have to be ordered with a possible one to two days turn around he left to order a new seal from a local supplier. However, despite his doubts on the availability he managed to locate and obtain a replacement part and returned the same day to carry out the repair. Having done so, he went on to successfully complete the annual boiler service as required. Kai’s efforts and prompt repair ensured that we suffered little to no inconvenience. This is not the first time that TM Hughes & Son Gas Services has come to our rescue and I would have no hesitation in highly recommending this company to anyone. GF

I was having trouble finding a local duel fuel fitter to remove my old cooker and install a new gas one. After being let down twice by friends recommended fitters, I went online and found T M Hughes and thank goodness I did!

This is a reliable, professional and trustworthy company that I would highly recommend.
A few years ago I needed a replacement boiler, TM Hughes sourced it, supplied and fitted it efficiently and tidily. My late husband was ill with dementia at the time, but the plumbing and heating engineer, Pawel, took everything in his stride and was kind, friendly and respectful with him.
After installation he checked each radiator carefully. He was polite and his work was clean and tidy. Since then I have continued to use TM Hughes and Pawel has done the annual boiler service each year. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Terry, the owner, if I had a plumbing or heating problem as I know that I can rely on Pawel to do what's best. He takes a genuine interest in his customers and won't advise you to do something that is unnecessary.

Top service. We were given an approx time when someone would turn up and they did as promised. Terry and his team were extremely efficient at coming to rectify my boiler when it packed in around November. I contacted him late in the evening, and he spent the time to talk through the potential issues, before sending out one of his team the following morning. We experienced some load noises on our boiler we called
TM Hughes, James the engineer came recommended a new boiler as the repairs require would be almost half the cost of new he was not pushy just a recommendation. We agree and he returned and replace the boiler within three days and return when i called as i was unsure about something, 3 visit within the space of a couple weeks he was very patient and so was mr Hughes when I called thank you both, and I couldn’t be happier.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend TM Hughes. The water from my bath and sink was draining extremely slowly. We had tried liquid drain unblockers but these had failed. After a visit from Terry and one of his fantastic plumbers our water now gushes away at a rate we've never seen before. A huge thank you to both of them.

We were very impressed by the service we received from TM Hughes. The technician who came communicated well about when he was arriving and seemed extremely knowledgeable, as well as very pleasant and polite. He identified the problem and explained our options clearly setting out costs and effectiveness of the different options. The repair was done a few days later and has solved all our heating issues.

What should I say about T M Hughes.
Firstly it’s a great company that do a great job at a fair price. Terry the governor came round 1st to view the job (replacing the boiler and changing the system from a pressure system to a combi system) and I received the price of the work to be done the same night, and was very happy with his work ethics and the quote I received. The work was carried out within a week by one of his engineers called Alex, who knew his job and carried out the work to the highest of standards. I could not recommend this company highly enough.

Terry and his team (with a special mention for Pavell) did a great job of renovating our central heating system. They replaced two of our twelve radiators, a circulating pump and a valve. They then power flushed the whole system. In thirty plus years the system has never worked as well as it does now! They turned up on time, did the job in line with the estimate and provided great follow up to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be using them again.

THE BEST SERVICE.
Woke up the Monday after Christmas to a cold house. Phone call to Terry Hughes promised a response by Tuesday. In fact an engineer came out on the Monday and we decided that as the boiler was 14 years old that the best course of action was a new boiler. This was fitted on the Friday, the work was done with minimal interference and we were up and running by the afternoon. Cannot praise enough.

Great experience with this company. Booked a service as mine was overdue, and my boiler was constantly losing pressure.
Our boiler technician's name was Pawel, he came over and identified the issue immediately. I got my replacement parts ordered and installed within just a few business days. The boiler is working perfectly now.
On top of that, Pawel was very friendly, and funny. I enjoyed chatting with him while he worked.
