Due to a stupid mistake by myself, we ended up with a leak in our hallway upstairs that found its way into our kitchen! A quick call to Terry and arrangements made for one of his team to come and fix which they did, very efficiently and professionally and the young fella that did the job was a credit to TM Hughes! Being an ex Royal Mail employee, I recognised this as a 'First Class' service.....I will definitely be using this company again and will gladly recommend in the future.

The first time we have used them, but it certainly won’t be the last. Our usual firm could not get out to us for over a week when our Air Con went wrong during the heatwave. I was having trouble finding a local duel fuel fitter to remove my old cooker and install a new gas one. After being let down twice by friends recommended fitters, I went online and found T M Hughes and thank goodness I did!
From the first enquiry I felt I was being listened to and that I was dealing with a very proffessional company. I was given a date and time for a fitter (Dylan) to attend who subsequently did a first class job. He was neat and tidy and put the old cooker outside for me ready for collection.
I cannot recomend this company enough. From start to finish I was kept informed along the way which is so important. Well done guys, your number is in my contact list as ill definitly call on you, if needed in the future. 🙂

This is a reliable, professional and trustworthy company that I would highly recommend.
A few years ago I needed a replacement boiler, TM Hughes sourced it, supplied and fitted it efficiently and tidily. My late husband was ill with dementia at the time, but the plumbing and heating engineer, Pawel, took everything in his stride and was kind, friendly and respectful with him.
After installation he checked each radiator carefully. He was polite and his work was clean and tidy. Since then I have continued to use TM Hughes and Pawel has done the annual boiler service each year. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Terry, the owner, if I had a plumbing or heating problem as I know that I can rely on Pawel to do what's best. He takes a genuine interest in his customers and won't advise you to do something that is unnecessary.
Thank you Terry for a company of which you should be proud.

We experienced some load noises on our boiler we called
TM Hughes, James the engineer came recommended a new boiler as the repairs require would be almost half the cost of new he was not pushy just a recommendation. We agree and he returned and replace the boiler within three days and return when i called as i was unsure about something, 3 visit within the space of a couple weeks he was very patient and so was mr Hughes when I called thank you both, and I couldn’t be happier.

First used tm hughes & son when my boiler packed up a week before xmas, with in 2 days new boiler had been installed, terry went out of his way to help at a busy time, and always use them for its annual service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend TM Hughes. The water from my bath and sink was draining extremely slowly. We had tried liquid drain unblockers but these had failed. After a visit from Terry and one of his fantastic plumbers our water now gushes away at a rate we've never seen before. A huge thank you to both of them.

The technician who came communicated well about when he was arriving and seemed extremely knowledgeable, as well as very pleasant and polite. What should I say about T M Hughes.
Firstly it’s a great company that do a great job at a fair price. Terry the governor came round 1st to view the job (replacing the boiler and changing the system from a pressure system to a combi system) and I received the price of the work to be done the same night, and was very happy with his work ethics and the quote I received. The work was carried out within a week by one of his engineers called Alex, who knew his job and carried out the work to the highest of standards. I could not recommend this company highly enough.

Terry and his team (with a special mention for Pavell) did a great job of renovating our central heating system. They replaced two of our twelve radiators, a circulating pump and a valve. They then power flushed the whole system. In thirty plus years the system has never worked as well as it does now! They turned up on time, did the job in line with the estimate and provided great follow up to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be using them again.

THE BEST SERVICE.
Woke up the Monday after Christmas to a cold house. Phone call to Terry Hughes promised a response by Tuesday. In fact an engineer came out on the Monday and we decided that as the boiler was 14 years old that the best course of action was a new boiler. This was fitted on the Friday, the work was done with minimal interference and we were up and running by the afternoon. Cannot praise enough.

Great experience with this company. Booked a service as mine was overdue, and my boiler was constantly losing pressure.
Our boiler technician's name was Pawel, he came over and identified the issue immediately. I got my replacement parts ordered and installed within just a few business days. The boiler is working perfectly now.
